Eligibility

1 For All Candidates in all streams Graduation or Equivalent, in any stream.
2 Sound Design Physics as a subject in Higher Secondary or equivalent is preferred.
3 Animation Creation & Direction Basic drawing and computer skill is preferred.
5 Direction Good communication skill preferred.
Selection

Selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the applicants in written tests followed by interview/orientation, and a medical test. Students submitting evidence of continuous involvement in creativity in their preferred areas of specialization will get preference. Medium of the written test, orientation and interview is English and/or Bengali.

Admission Process
  • Interested candidates may apply for admission by duly filling the Online Application Form & uploading the necessary documents and photograph.
  • Candidates allowed for the written exam can download the admit card and print it to carry it during written test.
  • Selected candidates will be invited to take part in orientation process. Name of the venue and dates will be intimated later.
  • Final provisional merit list will be prepared and uploaded on the basis of marks obtained in all the exams.
  • Candidates shortlisted for admission must undergo a medical test and will have to produce the test report to the Medical Officer of the institute. The Institute reserves the right to cancel the admission process of any candidate failing the medical test.
  • Original copy of the uploaded documents will have to be provided at the time of admission for verification purpose, failing which admission process will be liable to be cancelled.

The capacity for admission to the academic session for each of the discipline is as follows:

Some of seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and for persons with disabilities as per Government policy of reservation. clearing the written test and the interview/orientation will be the basic requirement for all selection.

Orientation & Interview

Candidates short listed on the basis of performance in the written tests will be called to Roopkala Kendro for orientation & interview.

  • Orientation: Total Marks 200, Interview: Total Marks 200.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing at the interview/orientation.
  • Fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • The institution will not be making any arrangement for hostel facilities. Besides tuition fees, students should be prepared to take care of their day-to-day expenses for stay, for the purchase of textbooks and other study materials including materials required for practical work.
  • The fees and deposits are subject to change.
